How Does The Treatment Program Work?

During your consultation with Dr Terry Miller, your concerns, goals and desires will be discussed. Dr Miller will explain the different types of treatments available to you for you to achieve your desired look. He will also recommend to you the most appropriate Treatment Program for you. The Anti-wrinkle injections and a variety of Dermal Fillers are used to reduce facial lines or fill out unwanted hollows and crevices. You can either have your treatment during your consultation or at another time. If you choose to have your treatment on the spot Dr Miller’s consultation will be free.
Is There Private Health Rebates Available?

Who Is Performing The Treatment?

All Non-Surgical Cosmetic treatments are performed by our highly qualified and experienced Cosmetic Physician, Dr Terry Miller, who is trained and certified through relevant Authorities, such as Medical Board of Queensland, Gold Coast Division of Medical Practice, Queensland Health, and the Australian Cosmetic Society. And each year, he has ongoing advanced traing to maintain the strict protocols and high standards set by the Associations. Dr Miller has been performing Cosmetic Treatments for over 8 years and treated thousands of satisfied clients, from whom he has gained the reputation of being a true ‘artist’ in his field.
What Will It Look Like After?

The treated area can look slightly puffy or reddened but will go away in 24 hours. The results of Dermal Fillers are immediate. You will see and feel the difference from an Anti-wrinkle injection treatment within 2-3 days.
How Long Does The Treatment Take?

Your initial consultation with Dr Miller will take around 20-30 minutes. An anti-wrinkle treatment takes about 10-15 minutes. A Dermal Filler treatment takes approx. 30-60 minutes.
How Many Treatments Do I Need To Start Seeing Results?

Only 1 treatment is needed to see results. Effects such as the filling of hollows and crevices from a Dermal Filler treatment will be immediate. Results from anti-wrinkle injections to reduce facial lines and wrinkles will start to appear within 2-3 days, and be at maximum effect in around 10 days.
Is There Any Downtime?

There is usually no downtime, just a little redness of the area treated which will go away within 2 hours.
Is There Any Bruising?

Typically, due to Dr Terry Miller’s experienced technique, there tends to be little or no bruising. If there is some bruising, it tends to be light and makeup can cover it up. It can take up to 7 days to completely disappear depending on the individual.
Does It Hurt?

Most people are surprised in how little these procedures hurt. These Cosmetic Injections are performed with very fine, tiny needles and Dr Miller is very gentle with his technique. Generally, you’ll feel a little prick, or a slight sting which lasts only seconds.
In addition, the new fillers offers a built in anesthetic that activates as it hits the skin for a painless procedure.

Can Anyone Receive The Treatment?

Yes! With the exceptions of people who are pregnant; or have some neurological or psychological conditions. Please consult with our doctor first if you are unsure.
Do I Need To Do Anything To Get Good Results?

We recommend you exercise your facial muscles for 1-2 hours after aa anti-wrinkle treatment to help the protein flow evenly through the muscles for best results. We also suggest you use good skincare products on a regular basis to slow down the natural ageing process. We recommend and supply Aspect Dr and Results RX cosmetic ranges which are skin treatment ranges specifically formulated and only available from medical cosmetic clinics and we are happy to discuss with you during your consultation. Also, it is recommended that you stay out of direct exposure to the sun, and the use of 30+ sunscreens, to help fight against future facial lines and wrinkles.
Does This Program Work On Men And Women Alike?

Are The Results Lasting?

The results of Anti-Wrinkle injections and Dermal Fillers are lasting, however these are non-permanent treatments. Dermal Fillers tend to last 12-18 months, and Anti-wrinkle treatments last 3-6 months. Future treatments are recommended to maintain a youthful and vibrant look.
